As
I walked through the riverside,
Batting
the stones, as I passed by…
Thinking
of this and thinking of that,
Counting
the pits and throwing my hat,
I
saw a far-off tree, a beauty on wood,
Nothing
could have been, ever so good,
Looking
the heights, so still it stood…
Strong
as strength itself, everything withstood!
It
raises it head and touches the heaven,
Filled
with cuckoos, parrots and raven…
She
bows her head to the wildest storm,
And
protects even the smallest worm!
Giving
the breath, not for us to face death
And
giving a hide, to the mother’s new child…
And,
I was just thinking in my inner mind,
Such
a glory, will I ever find?
- Me
